<lets say there was a trivia contest about gold and you won and the prize was either 10 grand in abx stock or 10 grand in nem stock and you had to hold on to the stock for five years...> You are so cruel. I would take the Barrick because I think it has less downside risk that Newmont over the long term. By putting a 5 year timeframe on it, you turned it into a capital perservation question instead of an investment question, making me concerned about not losing the 10K than having it increase in value. So I don't think you cornered me, yet ;)
