Not necessarily. It would depend entirely on the circumstances, and how forthcoming the Bush team is at telling the American people the truth about what happened. As it stands, we have been given the set of perpetrators for Operation 911 in the immediate aftermath of the incidents. Yet, Cheney insists that any investigation into the matter is suppressed. Last night, I came upon some more damning information in regard to the investigation of 9/11. The man who has been put in charge of investigating the F.I.B. regarding 9/11 is an obstruction and cover-up expert: Message 17660651 This is ominous. The Bush team is doing everything it can to suppress investigations into itself and events leading up to 9/11. While at the same time, the anthrax investigation, despite clear indications from FAS's Barbara Rosenberg of who the perpetrator is, is going nowhere. It's too much to believe that the F.I.B. isn't actively stalling that investigation. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" A couple of us on the President GWB thread have been speculating about the most likely venue for a convenient mass terrorization device in the U.S. We have concluded that if the elections look to be going too badly for the Bush team, that they will explode a "dirty" nucular device on the Capital Mall in Washington. Probably in late September/early October. Timing it so that martial law can be imposed just prior to elections, and insuring that the Capital is off-limits and inaccessible for many months. While Bush has his secret government in place at Greenbriar, Colorado Springs and elsewhere, the Congress will be in utter disarray, with no meeting location, and no way to effectively counter the Bush/military adminstration of the nation. Highly speculative? You bet. Conceivable? Re-read the Operation Northwoods document. There are some people in the highest reaches of our government who find participatory democracy to be a major threat to their view of how this country needs to be run. By them, of course. -Ray
