I think we're in for a rough 5-6 trading days. I'm long from yesterday and just holding, I'm not even going to try to trade this mess.

Agreed that 984 is critical. We got to 982 at 9:45. We got to bust through later today if we are have any chance of meaningful rally.
If we sell out this afternoon, latest bear market rally lasted a total of 1:45 hrs long. Not very encouraging.

Considering all the IPOs having to come off next week successfully, the market has a lot vested in pushing averages up today.

I'm just watching and waiting

IMO, We need to See the DOW at 8300 for the Street

to start pumping the low is in. This End of Quarter Window Dressing might fool some, but not the some who counts.
Hedge funds locking in Short profits to show their quarterly gains, only to be shorted again.............
All just my speculation....
