And the indices have to have more fuzzy logic applied. They will often violate conventions that a high participation individual stock will not (i.e., 4/1 overlap).

I actually did some work w/Prechter a decade ago, and the "word" was that EWave is better the more "mass" the mass market is....(thus, at that time, using it for individual stocks was somewhat downplayed)..

Of course, now, trading volumes on individual stocks much higher in most cases

Of course, too, at that time Bob was WAY OFF on his overall stock indices calls(as he was mostly since '87 crash)...
