Bob...don't concern yourself with being derogatory....if you had intended to be so....you would have done a much better job.....-:)

Great Wealth....if the Lord had intended me to have great wealth...He would have done so long ago....maybe he forgot ...or changed his mind.

I have no significant earned income with which to buy additional shares of anything....so using covered call premium enables me to generate cash with which I can buy additional shares off of my "worth a second look list" of stocks.

About now I 'm doing covered calls (on new stock buys) with stock very close to the strike price.

None of this stuff works all the time but enough of it works most of the time....enough from keeping me from reading the want ads.

Bob...instead of capitulation ...why not a slow trend heading upward?

I didn't read it as derogatory, and I'm sure Jerome didn't either. I agree with positional trading, and ORCL is a good one right now to do that with.

But I follow technical trading a bit and ORCL is topping. Good for a few points right now.
