You hit the nail on the head there. I hate the tax system in this country and how the government spends our money. It has nothing to do with free markets or fairness. It's all about diverting accountability. What the hell are we enacting steel tarriffs for? That was stupid. If the industry isn't viable, let it die. Why farm subsidies? The myth is that we are trying to help the small farmer survive. What small farmer is that? I bet if anyone bothered to do a study, they'd find that the majority of farm subsidies go to large mechanized corporations. Then don't get me started on social security. I WANT OUT. I promise to never ask for a dime from the government for my retirement and I promise to take care of my own parents, if they will leave me out of social security. I'd be willing to sign a contract to that affect today. In fact, they can have all the money I've already put into the system too. Take it. I don't want it. Just let me out.
