It explains a lot about you Americans... It's not our fault. We're taught by the mass media and in school from a very young age that the USA is number one, and definitely elite above the rest of humanity. When I was in grade school, we were made to say the pledge of allegiance every day. Non whites were looked down upon. Dad was strong figure in life. Corporal punishment was widely used in the school system and at home. In history classes, were are taught that the founding fathers were really good people who should be respected and revered. That was back in the 70s. Now, in the 90s and 00s, my Nieces and Nephews are being taught that George Washington was an evil slave owner. Minorities are glorified in schools, and heterosexual white males are derided as archaic. Kids see commercials on TV where parents are told "let your children do anything they want and allow them to be themselves. Know what they are doing, but don't interfere." You can figure out the rest, I'm sure. Life here is one big sham. The people in the USA have been conned and brainwashed. How? Politically correct Dr. Feelgood. CEOs and Gov leaders have a special ability to fuck people over to the Nth degree while smiling and making them feel damned good about themselves and their pathetic lives. The mass media is instrumental in this process. It is truly a sad state of affairs. I don't know where you live, but stay there. You are probably better off. More Americans would probably bail, but language is a big barrier (by design) for the vast majority of us. John
