Now what LW group did you say I was a part of? <g> Oh, just the dumb part. Which covers about 99.9% of them. The public school systems are increasinly becoming a grotesque, expensive failure. They keep screaming for more MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and keep putting out worse and worse product when they get it. "Just give us another $100B and everything will be wonderful." We've heard that for years as the public schools have declined. They have only the interests of the teachers and administrators in mind and the public be damned! It is at least worthwhile to try an alternative. If it doesn't work, we can always back up to the current mess. :-)
