Prudent Bear Fund, re. David Tice interview with Maria drooling over his six month performance.........

Total return for period ending 03/31/02, since inception on 12/29/95....... -6.91%, average annual return.

Over SIX YEARS, -6.91%, average annual return.

That goes beyond stinking.

If you're going to introduce a fund manager who has a long, stinking track record and if you don't refer to such, what should your viewers think of CNBC?

en my opinion, you have to give Tice a lot of credit for exposing some of Tyco's shenanigans when it was very unpopular to do so, and he took a lot of heat over it in the beginning when most investors and portfolio managers refused to accept the fact that TYC's management left something to be desired.... People who have the nerve to expose these things early are usually ridiculed and or hated by the majority, but that is the way human nature is unfortunately....
