Goldman Sachs issues cautious comments on autos
Goldman Sachs says that they are now cautious on the Auto group going into the June sales number, which will be reported July 2; latest checks on June auto sales indicates that they may come in below previous expectations of 16.7 mln light, with some weakening at GM vs earlier expecations of +3% growth; firm hears that this past weekend came in well below the beginning of the month and below plan, which could mean that the month will have a slower exit rate and could be early bad news for July.
