G-T, Fund manager, Prudent Bear Fund on CSNBC today. Says we are in a secular bear market. The difference being that this is a long non cycling bear that will last several years. He recommended Gold and Silver Mining Companies. Their fund portfolio is 25% gold and silver. Hope reigneth eternal. Maybe we will see a real gold standard in the near future. PS I downloaded your info abt. the Wichita Mtns area. Maybe I will be able to break away some day and try my hand. Would feel a lot better if I had an old gold smeller like you along to show this green novice how its done. Santi
