My two favorite members were Keith Moon and John Entwistle. Moon was a monster on the drums. A true wildman. Entwistle was back there calmly and quietly, fingers flying, just hammering the shit out of his bass.

The Who did an incredible job performing for the benefit of NYC's police and fireman after 9/11...it was superb performance, and the audience loved it .

Nice that, the 3rd time the British invaded America with those young modern minstrel bards and took on us some amazing journeys while we have all grown...

* Sure beat the "Musak" in the elevators of Macy's , Soaps, and Church Music.
