<<If anyone deserves jail time, it's the people at the top.>>

I totally agree with you...Is the captain of the ship accountable...?? What about Ken Lay and his henchmen who used to run Enron...?? They got away with hundreds of millions in ILLEGAL profits and still are free. Will they ever pay big fines or do some jail time...?? A message must be sent to corporate America that corruption will not be tolerated anymore...Folks on mainstreet are as upset as i've ever seen them...they don't trust CEOs, Wall Street, or almost anyone in Washington. It will take a long time to re-build the trust....JMHO.

I don't think the "industry" (what industry? Martha created her own industry) is the one doing Martha in. It's the media.

#1 Major real life lesson to be learned for everyone here: apparently they are going to go after Martha for "lying" or misrepresenting to federal investigators. The federal investigators show up, without warrant or subpoena and begin to ask questions. If you lie or mislead, they can prosecute you and the sentence is up to 5 years.

Major real life lesson: don't talk to any federal investigator, or any investigator, ever. Ever. Why run the risk? If anyone ever calls me up on anything, and I mean anything, I won't even talk to anyone without a complete immunity from any and all federal state and local crimes of any nature. In writing and signed in blood (their blood).

You have a question about how I like Datek? How's the weather been lately? Think the Dodgers will ever contend again? No comment. I plead the Fifth.

Vot a vorld ve livin' in here.
