Hi Warp, all,

Been in a lurking mode lately since I've been in all cash since before my last post (over a month ago?). Every time I'd think it was time to start playing again, I would get a negative result on my paper trade (In the old days I could count on a strong bounce telegraphed off RSI on a dumper stock after a day or two. Lately they just keep dropping ala PCS et al) so I'd go back to watching again. I may be missing out on the turnaround (could this be it?), but I haven't been losing $$$, and in my admittedly limited style of trading, I don't do much shorting. I know there are some longer term (a few days, weeks, or months?) plays out there, and ESST, BBY, PWAV are a few that have been taken out and shot along with the junk co's. Unfairly, IMO.

To your "?," I have a healthy line of credit (1/2 point below prime--amazing how they want to give you $$$ when your FICO score indicates you don't really need it) which I sometimes will dip into on what I would consider a "low hanging fruit" play for a day or few.

However, no way did I let myself get into a lengthy ride it down mode like apparently some have. The worst I did was getting greedy with SMTF (as discussed here before) and taking off my rolling stops, letting a profit turn into a loss on a lot of shares. The good news, relatively speaking, is that I got off just under 8, while some kept riding it down.

Otherwise, it's been a good year. Been enjoying the chatter here, and I have been following a few potential plays, but I must be getting lazy, because even the post WCOM failure-to-break-the-market ST bounce signal yesterday wasn't enough to get me to buy. Instead went out for a long bike ride. Going back to Yosemite manana for a few days so the market will once again have to chug along wo me. Looks like it's in y'alls' good hands, though. Cheers,

Jim
