first the Naz sold off
then tech capex spending
then the dollar
next consumer spending
(he left out real estate)
he sees economy as sluggish in near future
too much hope is embedded in 2nd Half 2002 and into 2003
he sees no accelerated demand
he agreed with Cliggott as expected 10-20% stock decline

Cliggott interviewed:
hard to determine proper valuation since earnings are hard to define
sees "right" price for S&P as 800-900
sees 10-20% lower stock market over next 12 months

Slifer interviewed:
sees powerful fiscal and monetary stimulus producing stronger 2nd Half 2002
