" It's all about ethics and leadership, tho' she stops just short of indicting Bush Inc., by indicting the SEC. Soros started today to address a small part of that damage, on the international scene. Let's hope it continues. That Noonan had a way with words, we knew. A way with meanings, tho' -- that's new. This is the best thing of hers I've read. What do you expect ? The Judaeo/Christian ethic that this country was founded on contained the notion of self-governing. Self-governing implies that we are bound by a moral concept that states we should conduct our affairs in a moral fashion not because we might get arrested or because we might get caught but because it is the right thing to do. Also implied is the idea that a higher power than ourselves demands that we live in accordance with these dictates. These notions were the foundation of this country For years the left has been bashing this notion and replacing these concepts with situational ethics and all that matters is that you get ahead. This culminated in the CLinton presidency with the media laughing at how clever he was . "DEFINE IS" The students at school believe that cheating is valid. They have learned this from their teachers and from the media. Why would you expect business leader to be any different ? Are they not following the Clinton example of catch me if you can ? Make 100,000 dollars on 1,000. You can't prove that it was crooked. Lastly the Clinton era resulted in the greatest transfer of wealth in this nation's history from the pocket's of individuals to government and to wealthy bankers. "THE TRUE CLINTON LEGACY IS THE RICH GOT RICHER AND THE ERA OF BIG GOVERNMENT WAS INDEED HERE TO STAY"
