That's odd - I would think, all things being equal, that one would think the market is being pushed up (or at least stand its ground) in order to get those offerings out

Though they are decent sized (esp CIT), I dont think they affect liquidity in any way

Trimtabs said they may be turning more bullish soon, as offerings end and if liquidity improves.

Dale, Was it not you thought this would happen. I think you might have commented upon this a week or two back.

I guess the other factor for them turning bullish is that they had gotten this downturn correctly and are more comfortable taking up long positions even if they turn out to be longer term bearish.

The big outflows from funds last week might be contrarian too. Of course, it would not be contrarian if one looks at what happened back in the late 1990s when inflows just did not seem to stop.
