What do you think of Soros's comments on the dollar?

Astute or self-serving?

How did I misquote you? All I said was that last year (late last year) I said that the Euro would strengthen and the dollar will collapse. You questioned that with your own arguments and we had a few message exchange on the subject. Your view was that the European economy was not strong enough for a strong Euro. I'll try and look for our messages but I have to be honest that I'm not very good with SI's search. Does anyone have a link to the type of modifiers that can be used? I can see why you put your ID in the body of the message. I'd like to know if there is a way to search by from or to IDs AND body text.

Here is my message that started the discussion on the Euro and Dollar.

Message 16852443

"And one more thing. IMO, the Euro will do very well in 2002 versus the dollar. Very well indeed. I expect at least a 20% increase over the dollar in 2002. Which is bad news for the US stock market."
