Fangorn -

I have stated here publicly that I think Clinton was an embarrassment to our country. I have not defended Clinton's actions.

I've only questioned the repeated statements by you and others that he is to blame for the current corporate scandals. That can be denied, and I do deny it, because it's a ridiculous statement that can't be supported by facts.

You can say that you believe these corporate criminals acted as they did because Clinton's behavior made them believe they could get away with it, but how can you possibly maintain that it's a fact? Have you or anyone provided a single shred of evidence to support that conclusion? Has a single one of these people even hinted that they did what they did because of Clinton?

Criminals are responsible for their own behavior.

The fact remains that more members of the first Bush adminstration were indicted and convicted of crimes than were members of the Clinton administration.
