That was interesting to hear that the SEC isn't structured like a corporation. That may be a blessing, more than a cause for complaint. <g>

How long until the rest of the world decides we aren't the safe haven for their funds that we've successfully convinced them of for so long? The dollar's slide indicates the full faith and credit of the U.S. ain't quite a credible as it was six months ago. We can see the dollar's slide is pretty well correlated with the news about Enron and all the other unravelings.

One wag put it well on the News Hour last night. He said: "You only see the bones on the beach when the tide goes out. It's not all the way out yet."
