The underlying false assumption of this articles echo's the thinking of many liberal Democrats. That being, there is a *fixed* economic pie which can only be divided up into pieces.

Thanks to the Bush tax cut and subsequent surge in the U.S. economy, trading with asian nations will continue their strong growth in the future.
