Also for the bears, tech is being driven today by BTK and NWX. Smelly is lagging.

The price action at that obvious strong s-t resistance (per my discussion/chart with Bobcor) is what I was talking about this week: a place where shorts would jump in only to get their ass whopped. It's too early to say, since all we have done is gone sideways for a while, but it did not fade and *if* we should pop here over SPX 1002 or so, I expect it to take out a significant number of short stops. That putative Dow wedge that s-t bears are seeing is another example I think.

Imho, for two weeks we had a lot of amateur shorts making good money. Markee will want some of that back.
