Exactly. And one of the founding principles of the United States is that the gov't does not get involved in religious practices.

Some religeous people are able to do this only because it seems to be in line with the God they worship.
Then perhaps they are in the wrong country. The gov'ts within the US should not be "in line" with ANY God. Or gods. Or lack thereof.

If it were seen as in contention with religeous foundations then you would see divisions of loyalty
How is it "in contention"? THe gov't is not raiding churches and arresting members. It is simply staying clear of religious issues.

Thise who wish a theocracy should certainly feel free to emigrate to another country. The US gov't won't stop them.
