I apologize to you foreigners, Steve <g>. There is certainly smart and dumb money from all sources, domestic and foreign. I do, however believe that precedence shows that most foreign money is nearly always late to the game. They see the U.S. or Japan, or wherever outperforming, and they chase the returns. Typical hindsight investing behaviour.

As for you being bearish starting in 2000- I turned bearish probably a year or more before you did. So you're late there. <g>

It's really more human nature than any cultural difference. It works the same way with U.S. investors money too- Look how many Americans got burned in the Asian meltdown of 4-5 yrs. back. We all (most all, that is) came late to the party, and stayed too long. Top of the tub in those countries..

The dollar has so far found support above the LT uptrend. It's too early to be calling a LT bear market in the $, IMO.
