CNBC is reporting a coordinated intervention of selling the Yen and buying $$. They report the ECB and US central bank are doing so at the request of Japan. This is the fifth or sixth intervention (but the first involving other than the BOJ) this month designed to bring down the Yen. Time will tell if this one is more successful
