Zeev, you bring up an interesting point, "...they don't have to cover" and it got me to thinking...WHO! Also, nowaynohow, aka Brubaker, has stated numerous times that the shorts have played this stock like a fiddle and as much as I hate to admit it I agree with him. But...WHO? It must be 'someone' close to Valence and has or had access to privy information and already has a substanial long postion. Financiers came to mind and the only current one that still maintans a substanial position is Capital Guardian with almost 4 million shares.

So, IMHO, if we see a huge drop in short interest come next reporting period I don't believe will see any kind of squeeze just CG covering with its long position.

IMO, todays after-hours activity was reminiscent of the Castle Creek covering a few years back. I guess it not just the floorless bandits that have ulterior motives...

goe

<<I hate to bring that up, but could be they got a piece of paper that say they don't have to cover?>>

Zeev, I assume you are suggesting somebody is holding some form of floorless financing. Could be, but I haven't seen an SEC filing that describes such a financing. There has been no filing to discuss the Berg financing, and the other financing handled through AG Edwards appeared to be a fixed-price sale of common stock.

Can they do a stealth floorless without a filing describing the transaction?

Zeev... is this stock still for real?? Haven't even heard of it in YEARS but know it used to be quite a story.
