If beginning of next week is up, then you are probly right. If it is down then maybe buying really has been exhausted. Look at the equity P/C last two days for example.

Thu: 0.55
Fri: 0.56

I see also the weekly sentiment surveys show increased bullishness. And from SI (which may not be a valid concensus) almost everyone is expecting a bounce in the near term or that a bottom has been put in.

I only have one short at them moment but if the bounce is not confirmed early next week then I will be very tempted to open some considerable shorts.

"Total worthless BS"

You might want to reconsider?

The site said it had it's highest sentiment reading ever and the very next trading day the Nas declines 5% and hits a 4+ yr closing low.
