Oh! I get you now. And you're right of course about our speculation. It doesn't really amount to much, does it? On the other hand, if it keeps a few of us off the streets... <g>

Augie, just in case you missed it, I edited (and re-edited) that last post.

<<the seemingly extraordinary trading behavior in the stock>>

The facts, (at least as I understand them), not subject to speculation:
* ~6 million shares traded today up to the closing bell.
* an additional ~14 million shares traded after hours

* stock was up strong for the day on close to twice it's normal volume right up to ~48 minutes before closing, with sizable blocks going off at the ask. ~3.8 million shares traded up to 12:12 EST.

* subsequently, the stock went topsy-turvy in a slug-fest that saw an additional 16 million shares traded (that alone being 8x normal volume).

* in conjunction with the late-day CORV trading carnival, one of its few public competitors (TELM) went strong, and continued strong in AH, even after it released news that could be considered mediocre at best. Total shares traded on TELM, including after hours activity: ~18 million shares (20x normal volume).

Gotta run.
