Anindo,

Read the ecri site. The economy has been picking up steam for months, we are at inventory levels that are historically low. My point is that guys like Roach figure it should get worse and are beating the drum that it will be forever before we rebound. The ndx has now corrected MORE than the Nikkei did, and they want more. Was 75% enough? No. It isn't true that there are no signs of cap ex improvement, its an exaggeration. I am not blaming anything that has gone on the last 4 months on 9-11.

I am not trying to convince you or anyone of anything. It's obvious that the fantasies of every crackpot paranoid delusional are coming true. And trading their way has been very good for my account. I wake up in the morning, put a big poster of an atomic bomb going off above my pc, along with a picture of Jimmy Carter, and the beautiful Island nation of Japan, and I am in the right frame of mind to knock out about $25,000, along with the rest of the boys on the floor.

"but I wouldn't call the market here irrational"

The best friend of a family member of mine hung himself on 9/7. He kept having visions of the apocolypse that he couldn't shake, and he wrote out the words "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.." from the 23rd Psalm. This of course ended up being the passage that Bush quoted when he spoke to congress several days later. Was he a paranoid delusional, that couldn't control his actions, or was he rational?
