"My primary reason is that everyone and their cousin proclaimed last week the start of the summer rally" And most of the few that still think we go lower see a bounce for a couple of weeks first. I like using stops, especially with the explosive bear rallys we can get. Using futures you can keep the stops on overnight but too risky on the weekend when the futures are closed. Will probly go short Sunday night if there is no news to change my mind over the weekend.
