Market needs to get out of this - We've been cheating to get good grades B.S.. Very damaging to optimisim when playing field isn't level.

I do the same thing. Wake up and my mind is going full bore. On the 1929 thing: have to be real careful on that one. Many years ago when I was a broker (1973) I really looked at it and the conclusion that I came to was that it could happen again. You can say all you want to about the FED and other safeguards but it all depends upon the mood of the consumer and his ability and desire to spend. If that goes negative, look out because it can start to spiral down. The problem right now is how many WCOM's are there? Fraud of that size can have a domino effect because of the debt. When people get scared, they freeze. Yes, that causes market bottoms but the issue is when does the turn come? The longer it takes the more it reinforces the downward spiral. Sorry, not trying to be negative, just giving perspective.
