If women have a predisposition to eliminate unwanted children, if there is something in women that has been selected for over time that makes it...how shall I put it....less than unthinkable at a genetic level, and then abortion has nothing to do with it, and it is simply a lurking predisposition that may be within all women to a greater or lesser degree and is triggered by certain stresses.

Of course I've no idea how you'd go about proving that.
