They have always bugged me, although I am too apathetic to ever challenge anything like that. But bravo to this man, I'm glad he did it. Let us see what excesses and backlash the "majority" are willing to commit in their furor over the words "under God". I would not challenge it not because I am apathetic but because I am too smart to spit into the wind and because I am too constructive to start an ugly and unnecessary war. I'm not glad that he did it even though I can relate to his position. I am very disappointed in the people who go to those great lengths you speak of, but not surprised and not longer very interested or amused. It would be nice if an adult were to step forward on the national stage.
