Lizzie, I hope it doesn't surprise that people who have worked 40+ years are in general better off than those who have worked just five years. >elderly retirees are the wealthiest group in the nation. Certainly more well-off than most 20-somethings.< I don't think that was the case when SS was set up though, correct? I kindof doubt you'd ever have support for a brand new entitlement program to support a wealthy demographic group, today. But once these programs are in, they're in of course. L
