Skinowski, it is the philosophy for founding a nation. Should a nation be founded on the basis of religion alone? It has nothing to do with population. India was one of the first countries to recognize Israel and still continues to. It also is a very close Soviet ally, receives subsidized oil from the Arab countries including Iraq. Recently, it conducted joint military exercises with the US in alaska and the Indian ocean. Having said that, what the author, who I believe is an Indian has posed the question which I think is very relevant
