I believe the dumping was by the Russell 3000 index. Safeco Asset Management had held 1.2% of the Infospace shares, 3,593,004, as of 3/02 and had been selling off its holding.
They as well as the index funds may have been clearing
there decks as Friday was the last day of the second quarter.
It will be interesting to learn who the buyers were of the 10,000,000 shares that were added to the daily volumne.
