Mishedlo re shorting gold... How do you know who is short gold and by how much? Is there some place this can be looked up (as with short positions in Naz stocks), or is your evidence anecdotal?

The "mechanics" of the gold dump do not interest me. I only care about predicting direction, not why moves occur. And this drop really was VERY easy to predict with gold stocks much weaker than bullion (until Friday) and neither reacting to the plunging buck.
