Hi Victor...>>>Are you assuming that actual Fed tax receipts will be less because of lower tax rates?<<< My belief is that Federal Debt reduction (that Bush ignored)would have put Bush in a better position to deal with the problems he now faces. The cost of financing government debt is a drag on the economy. If the government did not have to compete for that capital we could have lover rates on our consumer borrowings. Its the same with individuals....the less debt you carry around the greater freedom you have to do what you choose. JMO...Jerome
