All I have to say is THIS MARKET STINKS! There, now maybe things will get better. Volatility still in the rise. Waiting for another shoe to drop. Let's start a pool. Which company will be the next to admit to accounting fraud? Stay tuned, the answer is sure to come next week!

Good morning Bob, might as well watch the world cup while looking for encouragement online. :) Market sentiment seems to have bottomed vtoreport.com

Only 911 was worse.

Put/call varies widely day to day and even hour to hour, so we must look at a ma. P/C is about as high as it's been since the beginning of 2001
vtoreport.com

I often see posters quote ONE snapshot P/C value but I think that means little lt. P/C from another source stockcharts.com[w,a]wallyiay[df][pb10!f][vc60][iut!Ub14!Lp14,3,3!Lf!Lk14]&pref=G

I used the 10 wk ma here.

Finally, I found a worthwhile interview with Susan Byrne in Barron's.

Sorting Through the Mess -- Interview By Sandra Ward

An Interview with Susan Byrne -- To Westwood Management's founder, the market is acting rationally, although some investors aren't. The difference between low prices and low valuations. The lure of Apple, Sears and GM.

online.wsj.com

Let me know if you can't access it. Ms. Byrne sounds unflappable and sensible. Good looking, too.
