Both sides of Naz committment decreased substantially.

cftc.gov

This is a monstrous decrease in both long and short contracts on the Naz.

Any thoughts here? Why the sudden "lack of interest" in the Naz, both directions. The net affect might be more short (someone do the math please, noting the difference between minis and regulars), but the overall drop is what gets me floored.

Texas has not only an unlimited homestead exemption, the following are also exempt from creditors: 2 mules, 12 cattle, 120 fowl, 2 guns, and home furnishings including family heirlooms.

Presumably, the guns are to keep the creditors at bay.

It's kind of hokey, but the notion is correct - debtors should be able to get a fresh start after going bust and creditors know the rules of the game when they give credit here. That's why the new bankruptcy legislation is so repulsive.

mm,
doesn't mean much now, but chainsaw Al lives in Admiral's Cove, Jupiter, FL along with some celeb's like Celine Dion, etc.
In Palm Beach County you could try to check for residencies that included address like Frenchman's Creek, Admiral's Cove, Lost Tree Country Club (Nicklas & Greg Norman).
Once did a $5.2Mil house for a big developer out of Jersey. First he started a number of developments in FL, then his house. Put as much as he could into his house, sucking it out of development funds and then let the developments go.
We made sure we got draws every week ;-)
Was incredible how stupid banks were back then.

re:CEO/CFO's have applied for Florida homesteading ....

High end real estate is approaching a mania here in SW Florida where I live. The design firm I work for does many of the interiors for these in Naples up to Sarasota Florida.

Recently it appears that people are just buying homes and not furnishing them. Just stashing cash is my thought. Some are buying more than one home, primarily gulf front if they can find them.

I always thought the bankruptcy protection only applied to homes that were declared primary domiciles through the state of Florida which requires residency 6 mos and 1 day. Maybe I'm wrong. Sharon
