Me too. You'd think she'd send us some since we do such a good job of keeping her entertaibed.

N had bought a lot of cherries and they were a little too soft and not sweet enough to be great eating and I had said they'd be fine for a pie. Here's a good idea for a cherry pie (or any fruit pie, esp if the fruit isn't supreme.) I had some tart cherry preserves and also some Sarabeth orange-apricot jam, which is really wonderful (expensive but so good) and won a prize for being so good, and I added a dollop of each of those to the cherries and other ingredients so it was a very good pie in spite of the fact that I had been wondering where the flavor was going to come from.

The movie I saw was Monster's Ball and it was a good movie but traumatic. Fine acting. But traumatic. I wouldn't have rented it if I'd realized how upsetting it would be, especially the beginning, which made me feel physically weak from distress.

If anyone saw it, could they please tell me what they thought the ending implied. Was it an ominous ending (eg her new knowledge about who he is means their relationship is now doomed) or an auspicious ending (for a future happier than the past now that she knows all and is contemplating the fact that he has had losses, as she has) or do we simply not know what she will do, as he doesn't?
