dennis, the B/B has been going up for over six months, with no real increase in billings. Obviously, some new equipment is being delivered, but a good chunk of it is maintenance. I wonder if the billings will ever go up for this stuff, or are the orders going to just be pushed out?

Dennis:

The B2B numbers are the work of a relatively new guy on the block. Besides which, over the last decade, how many times have we seen "revisions"?

Intel has cut its capex already this year.

AMAT is a good, well-managed company. It has solid technology and a decent balance sheet. Unfortunately, it produces equipment for a VERY cyclical industry that is entering a very nasty part of the sine wave.. I will buy it when it gets down to single digits,..... probably LOW single digits.

Best, earlie
