<<Doug, what do you think about the SCOTUS ruling on random drug tests to students? >>

It's restricted to students doing extra curricular activities. Sports, chess club ....

To my way of thinking they're testing the wrong group of students. The kids in band practice after school aren't the ones doing drugs during those hours.

gao,

I think that the inevitability of false positives makes random drug testing of students less than desirable.

And as for my post I think some of the measures taken in the USA Patriot act will do nothing to prevent terrorist attacks within US borders while at the same time make a mockery of the longstanding concepts of freedom this country stands (or...used to stand) for.
