Ray, I was building on your idea & now you mock it.

Saudi Arabia & Iran cannot claim that the Palestine/Israel land is "their land", can they?

My suggestion would be a voluntary contribution to help their Pali Arab brothers. Ransom implies coercion.

I think Iran/Saudi Arabia should take the first step on this--obviously Israel is is no position to coerce Iran or Saudi Arabia to do anything. In fact, the dispute isn't even with Iran and Saudi Arabia!

But the Saudis often open their pockets out of compassion--for example they pay for lavish accomodations for Idi Amin, despite the fact that he reminds many of a modern-day Tamerlane.
