Is it fair to say that management has shown no inclination toward data services (targeted at the 56K landline market)?

That is my impression--seems like it would be a great addition though.

The only indicatIons of data services are via documents supplied to the FCC which incuded Vendor delivery timetables. These documents were EV-DO specific.

Other than the Job Opportunities that list positions available like

Engineer - Signaling Networks

-Participate in the evaluation, development, deployment and on-going support and operation of new services on Leap’s signaling network. This includes initial Tekelec STP and INET platform deployment and the planning and continued execution of message routing table changes, Global Title Translations, and Gateway Screening.
-Will be involved in the development and rollout of new technologies (e.g., SMS, LNP, wireless data etc. ) and act as the lead on the integration of these technologies on the signaling network.

A new position available is...
Customer Operations Manager-Technology/New Development
Which clearly states....

Responsible for the development and execution of all operational strategies necessary to support NP/LNP by year-end.

Information that I saw a couple of months ago indicated Leap was implementing data services in selected markets.
