I cannot take as coincidence THREE victories (Paraguay, USA and Korea).... all btw by the minimum difference... is there a pattern there ? YES... they knew how to win those particular games. If you think that is not important... just ask España what it means -lol The real important lesson here, particularly more so for the USA (because of its youth as a soccer team), is that... yes, it was well played and the progress has been tremendous BUT... BUT... BUT... and brand this in your brain... They need to learn how to win and to do whatever it takes --(short of a criminal act that is)... regardless of what kind of team you happen to be, or what players are at your disposal, or what kind of referee you encounter, because when everything is done, what remains is ... Who became World Champion. (That is the purpose of this competition). Germany understands this all too well. I mean look at their faces when they were given the silver medal, (that represents they are the best football team in the world --except for Brazil)... I mean you could have given them a soda bottle top instead and it would NOT have made any difference because what they wanted was not the silver medal, but the World Cup and to get that they needed to WIN; Brazil solved the puzzle and they did not. Remember that all second place really is.... the first loser. ... and.... Yes George, I do understand your points -g
