Unfortunately all the Okidata files that Add/Remove Programs uninstalls are now uninstalled, along with their dates.

But except for the folder I quoted the contents of in the post I just made to Constant, there's nothing relating to 'oki' when I search.

I wouldn't have given this a thought if it hadn't been for that instruction after the uninstall to uninstall certain remaining items "manually." I think I should manually delete that folder I mention above. But then I'm going to do as you suggest and just install HP as the default printer.
