I did let it be known that I would fight anyone who wanted to fight me. I was never afraid of fights. I suppose the counselors realized that that wouldn't be a good idea. It occurred to me when I was an adult that they must have known there was something dubious about what they were doing, because no phonecall was made reporting my lack of cooperation to my parents. I knew that my parents would be on my side anyway. Bye for now, work calls, and has been for a while, though I've been unconscionably ignoring it.
