Alan, if you get your information as to who complains about unfair US tariffs from the US media you won't hear much. There are plenty of countries who are seriously damaged and who complain who don't have retaliatory tariffs and you never hear of.

The US media only reports items of direct US interest (like the state of Bush's bowels) and news from places where the US has troops belting up some third world warlord or bombing peasants. The rest of the world doesn't exist as far as the US media is concerned..

The WTO seemed to be important to the US when they were playing footsie with China over admittance to that US controlled organisation; is it a case of short memories or selective memory ..
