> why does everyone and their uncle use the term LOOSE when it is incorrect, the correct term is LOSE...

Beats me.

I was still in the middle of typing and editing my message.
I can tell you many keys on my keyboard are a little sticky
and I often type double letters or no letter at all.
I ALWAYS have to go back and correct ALL of my posts.

I'm sorry my typing skills do not meet your high standards.
Do you have any comments on the actual content of any of my posts ?

retired, when applied to women I prefer the term "loose" rather than "lose".

Use of lose:

1. vas is los, mater?

2. you are nothing but a big looser buddy.

3. I used to loose at the crap table, but that stopped when I got loose.

4. Hang lose, Toulose.

Keyboard errors are homonymic often. Their I go, again.
Or left-rihgt. Or missing end(s) or eginnings. Or just speling. I have not often sseen doubles, as in stuck keyss but itt does happpen. Ten thre iz thole who just cant tupeta kl.
